System and Turnkey Projects
Sawant Filtech is also able to supply a filter as a complete system. This can involve full automation including software, but it may also extend to supplying pre-coat tanks, pipe work, instrumentation and even turnkey installations. Other options include unit-building for which filters are required.
MOTHER CATAFIL SAFE
Mother Catafil safe filtration system is a batch operated filter for the most stringent requirements for filtration, clarification and recovery of precious metals like-(pt, pd, rh, ru) catalyst on carbon and raney nickel.
We conduct special trials with your actual slurry to develop a concept for the overall system, including flow diagrams for the filtration process and engineering programme. Filtration and cake formation are affected under pressure and the particle layer continues to build until a pressure drop or cake thickness and compressibility is reached. The system also has the ability to apply gas or liquid capulsing from the filtrate side to dislodge the filter cake.
The dislodged solids are purged from the filter system, from where they may be returned directly to the process for reuse or dispatched to a collection unit. The scope of application for the company product has grown considerably and enjoys a very good market in chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticides, petro-chemicals and food industries.
Sawant Filtech is supported by an active and powerful sales and service network throughout india. One of our most important assets, however, has always been our flexibility, fast response to customers’ requests in terms of feasibility studies for lab & pilot trials. We keep a very responsive system which allows us to act quickly without compromising our quality standard.
ADVANTAGES
1) SINGLE PASS FILTRATION:
Superior filtrate quality is achieved without the use of a pre-coat or a polishing filter. Sintered metal membrane is specifically engineered for complete removal of particles.
2) FILTRATE AND CATALYST RECOVERY:
100% of the catalyst is recovered from the filter and can be returned to the reactor after each cycle. This is especially important when an expensive catalyst is used and efficient catalyst recycling is required.
3) CLOSED SYSTEM:
The filtration system is sealed from operator exposure. The filter’s clean operation and easy handling makes it ideal for safe application.
4) LONG PRODUCT LIFE:
Our sintered metal membrane elements maintain high filtration efficiency in most applications through years of continuous use.
5) EASY CLEANING:
These elements are easily freed of particulates by using blow back (gas) or backwash liquid cleaning method without scraping, scrubbing or rotating filter elements. Contaminates may also be removed with water, steam, air or solvents, or ultrasonic cleaning.
6) AUTOMATION OF ALL THE FILTRATION STEPS:
Automation of all the filtration steps from filtration to washing, and discharge of dried residue can easily be implemented, even after start-up of the system.
7) MOBILITY AND FLEXIBILITY:
Mobility and flexibility are major criteria in this type of industry. Production cycles are short and batches change frequently. As a result, the equipment must adapt to the required process. Therefore, the machine must be easily transferred from one place to the other. Sfpl has extensive experience in manufacturing mobile, compact, fully contained and automated filtration systems.
8) CIP SYSTEM:
The in-built CIP system of the pressure filters enable convenient cleaning of the vessel. The pipe and filter elements can be cleaned without opening or dismantling the equipment. The cleaning fluid is sprayed under high pressure via tank cleaning nozzles.
9) MINIMIZED HEEL VOLUME TREATMENT:
100% recovery of products for both solid and liquid heel assures batch integrity. Operating safety also includes a process for filtering small amounts of liquid and the residual heel.
10) CAKE THICKNESS:
The distance between the filter elements can be changed to accommodate required cake thickness.
11) DRY, SLURRY OR RE–SLURRIED DISCHARGE:
Solids can be changed from batch to batch.
